Introduction/challenge:  

The plant could not receive incoming power from the local electrical grid and the STG is out of service, and thus could not operate to meet the business requirements

Solutions:   

We prepared four solutions to the problem, out of which two best scenarios were developed in details including simulation of operation, checking selected solutions in terms of their impact on the entire system, suggesting next steps, checking protection against electrical shock through the system, and finally estimating the overall cost of implementation.

Introduction/challenge: 

During yearly general outage, critical equipment should be checked and tested in order to ensure that it will not break down during normal operation of plant. We have been asked to provide general maintenance and tests on all UPS units installed within the plant such as: main AC UPS unit, 110VDC unit, UPS for Turbine Emergency Lube Oil Pump.
